Description
This induced pluripotent stem cell line was derived by using episomal vectors to reprogram dermal fibroblasts from a male Retinitis Pigmentosa 12 patient. LEIi016-B is described as having a normal karyotype and compound heterozygous variants in the CRB1 gene. Expression of OCT4, NANOG, SOX2 and KLF4 in undifferentiated cell has been reported, as have in vitro spontaneous differentiation to endoderm, mesoderm and ectoderm, and directed differentiation to retinal organoids.
