Description
This induced pluripotent stem cell line was derived by using episomal vectors to reprogram dermal fibroblasts from a male patient with early onset pattern dystrophy. LEIi019-A is described as having a normal karyotype and a heterozygous variant in the OTX2 gene. Expression of OCT4, NANOG, SOX2, KLF4 and TRA-1-81 in undifferentiated cells has been reported, as have in vitro spontaneous differentiation to endoderm, mesoderm and ectoderm, and directed differentiation to retinal pigment epithelial cells via retinal organoids.
