Description

This induced pluripotent stem cell line was derived by using mRNA-based reprogramming to reprogram dermal fibroblasts from a sporadic Alzheimer Disease (SAD) patient. The donor of UOWi006-A is reported to carry an APOE genotype of ε4/4 and this genotype (APOE ε4/4) is assumed but not confirmed in UOWi006-A. Expression of OCT4, NANOG, TRA-1-60 and SSEA-4 in undifferentiated cells has been reported, as has trilineage differentiation, and differentiation to basal forebrain-like cholinergic neurons.
