Biological Sex: Female

Disease: MONDO:0007385
Label: idiopathic spontaneous coronary artery dissection
Definition:

Disease: EFO:1000938
Label: fibromuscular dysplasia
Definition: A disorder characterized by fibrous thickening of the arterial wall resulting in narrowing of the arterial lumen. It most often affects the renal artery and less often the carotid artery and abdominal arteries. It can cause hypertension and aneurysm formation.| An idiopathic, segmental, nonatheromatous disease of the musculature of arterial walls, leading to STENOSIS of small and medium-sized arteries. There is true proliferation of SMOOTH MUSCLE CELLS and fibrous tissue. Fibromuscular dysplasia lesions are smooth stenosis and occur most often in the renal and carotid arteries. They may also occur in other peripheral arteries of the extremity.
